If you have used foils to obtain a Colour Effect, we may well encourage Clients with short or medium length hair to try Colour Streaks, as these can provide a more Natural effect and which tend to avoid a harsh regrowth appearance, giving more time flexibility, before your next visit and of course are therefore also more economical to maintain and can be used to prolong the intervals between Color Treatments. Our Skilled Experienced Staff, are able to make the experience relaxing and comfortable.
We treasure our wonderful selection of beautiful Garden Flowers, which include Bird of Paradise and Gingers - regularly replenished by Mount Towen Tropicals.
Our Music Licence allows you to relax to music to match your desired mood. Some customers even bring in their favorite CD’s for us to play. We have a good selection of popular music.

We like to fit in with the needs of the Community, for example giving Assistance, Guidance and Help to Nambour High School with their 2008 production of Peter Pan and we support a number of Local Charities.

In the mid 1960s, when the Beetles were in their hay day, David, then 18-year-old, was earning money cutting and styling the hair of fellow Students to pay his way through college in the UK. The Salon is the culmination of David’s life-long passion for hairdressing.
Senior stylist Jose Antonio brings, European flair, and International Cuban and Spanish Experience, to the salon.
Growing up in the style and fashion centre of Madrid with two hairdressing parents, Jose is well known for his lively personality, an amazing collection of cowboy boots, and his penchant for singing as he works. His ornate, parents Qualifications are also on display as a token of his love, esteem and respect for their inspiration.
The team is topped off by our local Kellie Scharnitzki, who also cuts beautifully and is passionate about coloring.
David’s highly skilled and trained staff offers a wide range of professional services to internationally recognized standards at exceptionally affordable and competitive prices. They regularly use the Nambour Weekly to provide Clients with Special Offers and Discounts.
We utilize the most modern appointment system available through Short Cuts, which can retain a photograph and color information of your favorite style cut, so any staff member can replicate Customers personal preferences.
The salon also offers fabulous Italian colors by Elgon and which uniquely resistant to the harsh Australian sun, and the internationally acclaimed Nanokeratin System from Brazil, which can truly repair damaged hair.
Bearing in mind that shoulder length hair may be 2 or 3 years old at the tips, after just one treatment they can achieve an 80% repair effect, and subsequent treatments permanently continue till hair is silky, smooth, and manageable. They can even permanently transform wiry, or frizzy, coarse, easily tangled hair, into impressively luxurious styles.
Hairdresser’s Garden is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5pm and Saturday from 8.30am to noon. Whilst an appointment is a good idea, we are always delighted if we can pop Clients in without booking, or have them return when they had done their shopping.
